Indu PU College in Kottur, located in Vijayanagar district, Karnataka, has once again excelled in the Arts stream, with students D M Archana and Sangeeta both achieving 598 out of 600 marks in the II PU exams. This success marks the college's 11th consecutive year of securing top ranks in this stream. Archana, whose parents are a farmer and a homemaker, expressed her ambition to become an IAS officer, motivated by her parents' sacrifices for her education. Sangeeta, the daughter of an anganwadi worker and a marginal farmer from Koppal district, aims to pursue a career as a judge after completing her graduation in Dharwad. Additionally, Srishti Mallinath Patil from HKE Society's Veeramma Gangasiri College for Women in Kalaburagi also secured a top rank in the Arts stream, achieving a 95.3% result in her SSLC exams and aspiring to crack the UPSC exams.
