During a two-day executive meeting in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, BJP state president Suresh Bindal launched a strong critique of the Congress government, led by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. He stated that the government has failed to deliver on key promises, resulting in widespread distress among the people. Bindal highlighted that unemployed youth are struggling for jobs as government recruitment has stalled, leading to frustration among the populace. Additionally, he pointed out that government employees are facing hardships due to delays in salary payments, while retired employees are protesting for their dues. Bindal also criticized the Congress government for not fulfilling its commitment to provide ₹1,500 to women, which has fueled anger among them. He noted that farmers are distressed and the general public is burdened by rising prices and heavy taxation. The meeting was attended by several senior BJP leaders, indicating a unified front against the current administration.
