Brigade Group has announced a partnership with Hyatt to expand its hospitality offerings in India with two significant projects. The Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR, located along East Coast Road, is slated to open in 2029 and will feature approximately 200 rooms, catering to both leisure and business travelers. Meanwhile, the Hyatt House Bengaluru Devanahalli, set to launch in 2027, will provide 135 serviced apartments near Kempegowda International Airport, targeting short- and long-term stays. Nirupa Shankar, Managing Director of Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited, expressed confidence in Hyatt's expertise in managing large-format hotels, emphasizing the strategic locations of both properties. Dhruva Rathore, vice president of development at Hyatt, highlighted the strong demand for hospitality in Chennai and Bengaluru, aligning with Hyatt's vision for growth in key markets. This collaboration marks Brigade Group's continued expansion in the hospitality sector, following its recent ventures into industrial real estate and senior living communities.
