The Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HPBOCWWB) has approved an annual budget of ₹211.47 crore for the fiscal year 2025-26 during its 54th Board of Directors meeting. Chairman Nardev Singh Kanwar announced that ₹105 crore will be allocated for various social welfare schemes aimed at benefiting registered construction workers. To enhance employability, the Board has set aside ₹5 crore for skill training programs for beneficiaries and their dependents. Additionally, funding will support information, education, and communication (IEC) initiatives to raise awareness about available welfare schemes.
