On Monday, police in Pilibhit district, Uttar Pradesh, questioned the family of Sarvjeet Singh, who is accused of breaching security at the Delhi Assembly. Singh reportedly drove an SUV through a boundary gate and placed a bouquet in the Speaker's vehicle, prompting a security alert. His family claims he suffers from mental health issues and is receiving treatment at a hospital in Shahjahanpur. According to Station House Officer Pawan Kumar Pandey, the family stated that Singh had no prior criminal record. The police are currently verifying the family's claims and investigating Singh's movements, including a recent trip to Chandigarh to search for his missing nephew. The motive behind Singh's actions remains unclear, and further inquiries are ongoing. This incident follows a similar security breach last year involving another individual from Uttar Pradesh.
