The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) in Tamil Nadu has initiated the evaluation of Class 10 (SSLC) answer sheets, with results expected to be released on May 20, 2026. This year, 896,550 candidates, including 882,806 regular students and 13,744 private candidates, participated in the exams conducted from March 11. To streamline the evaluation process, multiple valuation centers have been established across various districts, with District Educational Officers tasked with managing these centers based on student numbers. The education department has implemented subject-specific guidelines to ensure that teachers evaluate answer scripts in their respective mediums, aiming for uniformity and transparency. Authorities are closely monitoring the evaluation process to avoid delays and ensure timely results, which are critical for students' academic progression and future opportunities.
