Bijnor police have made two significant arrests connected to alleged anti-national activities. Sameer alias Roohan, a resident of Najibabad, was apprehended for his involvement in a viral Instagram arms video from November 2025, where he was seen displaying weapons during a live session. The video, which surfaced on November 23, featured several individuals, including Maijul, who is believed to be in South Africa. Roohan reportedly joined a WhatsApp group linked to Maijul and Aqib, who encouraged him to engage in violent acts for financial gain. The police allege that Maijul displayed an AK-47 and discussed recruiting youths for criminal activities. In a separate case, Raju Ram Godara from Jaisalmer district, Rajasthan, was arrested for coordinating unlawful activities through a Telegram group. This group was implicated in arson and other anti-national conspiracies. The police expect these arrests to aid in uncovering a larger network involved in radicalization and sabotage efforts.
