In a disturbing incident in Ranjit Nagar, Central Delhi, a 70-year-old woman was sexually assaulted for over two hours by 27-year-old Mukesh Singh on April 11. Singh, who works as a waiter, broke into the woman's home under the pretense of asking for water. Once inside, he forcefully assaulted her, during which he was reportedly intoxicated. The police were alerted after the woman's daughter reported the incident, leading to Singh's arrest in the Pandav Nagar area. Following the assault, the victim was hospitalized and is currently undergoing treatment. Singh has been charged with multiple offenses, including sexual assault, and has been remanded to judicial custody.
