The Telangana government has approved ₹20.10 crore for the beautification and development of the historic Nagoba Temple located in Keslapur village, Indervelly mandal, Adilabad district. This initiative is designed to enhance tourist amenities and create livelihood opportunities for the local tribal population, particularly benefiting the Mesram clan of the Gonds who gather during the annual Nagoba Jatara, a major tribal festival. The funding includes ₹15.30 crore for infrastructure, ₹4 crore for road connectivity, and ₹80 lakh for storm water drainage within the temple area. Additionally, the government has sanctioned ₹200 crore for constructing the Young India Integrated Residential School (YIIRS) complex in Boath constituency. This school aims to bolster residential education infrastructure in northern Telangana, providing world-class facilities for students from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. These projects represent significant investments in Adilabad district, addressing the community's needs for improved educational and spiritual infrastructure.
