Residents of Sector 109 and 112 in Gurugram, Haryana, India, have expressed frustration over the deteriorating condition of the Sector 109/112 master dividing road, which has significantly hindered daily commutes. Sunny Daultabad, convenor of the Dwarka Expressway Gurugram Development Authority (DXP-GDA), highlighted that residents are forced to navigate a narrow and poorly maintained road to access the Dwarka Expressway. Gaurav Prakash, a local resident, described the road as being synonymous with dust and noted that construction work has been sporadic. The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has reported that the project, initiated on October 22, 2024, faced delays due to the need for tree removal, which required approval from the forest department. Official work commenced on April 1, 2025, and is expected to cost ₹6.11 crore (approximately $740,000 USD). GMDA's executive engineer, Shekhar Nandal, stated that about 90% of the drainage work is complete, with a deadline for the footpath set for June 15, 2025. The overall delay has been attributed to unfavorable weather conditions and the implementation of a graded response action plan.
