In a tragic incident in Venbakkam, near Ponneri, Tamil Nadu, a 21-year-old burglary suspect named Bhaskar died after falling from a third-floor terrace. The police reported that Bhaskar had broken into the home of Malayappan, a road contractor, stealing a wallet and a mobile phone. As he attempted to escape, his leg became entangled in a mosquito net and a wire, causing him to lose balance and fall headfirst onto the concrete below. Bhaskar sustained severe head injuries and died at the scene. Authorities rushed to the location, and his body was sent to the Ponneri government hospital for a postmortem. Investigations revealed that Bhaskar had prior involvement in theft cases in nearby areas, and police recovered three mobile phones and cash from him.
