Emami, a prominent fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company based in India, is acquiring the remaining 73% stake in Axiom Ayurveda for an amount not exceeding ₹200 crore (approximately $24 million USD). This acquisition will bring Emami's total ownership of Axiom to 100% and is expected to be completed in a phased manner over the next three months. Axiom Ayurveda, known for its Alofrut flavored drinks, also offers health juices and beauty products. Emami's Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Harsha Vardhan Agarwal, emphasized that this acquisition aligns with the company's strategy to enter high-opportunity categories in health and wellness. Additionally, Axiom has appointed Harkirat Bedi, previously of Dabur Nepal, as its new CEO, aiming to strengthen its leadership and accelerate growth in the beverage sector. Axiom Ayurveda was founded in 2019 and reported a consolidated turnover of ₹110 crore in FY25.
