A violent incident unfolded in Dharavi, Mumbai, late Monday night when Venkatesh Tevar, 25, was stabbed multiple times following a confrontation with a biker. The altercation began when a speeding biker splashed muddy water on Venkatesh and others waiting outside Sandeep Clinic. After the victim and his father, Patthan Tevar, 60, objected to the biker's reckless behavior, an argument ensued. The biker initially left but returned with accomplices, attacking Venkatesh with a sword and iron rod, injuring him severely on the head and shoulder. His parents were also hurt while trying to intervene. The attackers fled the scene, but police later arrested three suspects: Faizal Khan, Mohammad Kaif Farukkhi, and Hussain Shaikh. They face serious charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, including attempt to murder and rioting, as well as violations of the Indian Arms Act. Venkatesh is currently being treated at Sion Hospital.
