The body of a 32-year-old woman was found stuffed inside a bed box at a paying guest accommodation in Mangol Puri, Outer Delhi on Tuesday. Authorities arrested her boyfriend, Deepak (22), who allegedly smothered her to death during an argument. The woman, who had been married for about nine months, had developed a relationship with Deepak over the past six months. Their friendship reportedly soured due to financial disputes, leading to frequent arguments. On the day of the incident, the woman invited Deepak to her friend's PG to resolve their issues. After a heated argument, Deepak, accompanied by his friends Surendra alias Bobby and Joginder, allegedly killed her and concealed her body in the bed box before leaving the scene. Suspicion arose when the PG owner, Amarjeet, noticed the woman's absence and alerted the police, who discovered her body with strangulation marks and an injury on her forehead. A murder case has been registered at the Mangol Puri police station.
