In Greater Noida, an X-ray technician at the Dadri Community Health Centre has been suspended for allegedly accepting ₹71,000 to issue a forged medical report for an individual without visible injuries. A local resident's complaint, supported by a video of the technician accepting money, led to the suspension and the formation of a three-member inquiry committee chaired by additional Chief Medical Officer Dr. Shubhra Mittal. This committee is tasked with verifying the allegations and examining the circumstances surrounding the report's issuance. The incident raises serious concerns about the integrity of medical documentation in public health facilities, especially as fake medical reports are often misused in legal disputes, including accident claims. Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Ajay Rana emphasized that strict action will be taken against any employee found guilty of such misconduct, reflecting a commitment to maintaining standards in healthcare.
