The Election Commission of India has officially listed the candidates for the Parassala Assembly Constituency in the 2026 Kerala Legislative Assembly elections. The candidates include C K Hareendran from the Communist Party of India (Marxist), Neyyattinkara Sanal from the Indian National Congress, and Deepumon Parassala from the Aam Aadmi Party, among others. Parassala is situated in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala, and is classified as a General category seat. The constituency has a registered electorate of 1,93,742 voters, comprising 94,113 males and 99,628 females. According to the 2011 Census, the literacy rate in the area is 92.66%. Voters in Parassala will cast their votes on April 9, 2026, with the counting of votes scheduled for May 4, 2026. In the previous assembly elections held in 2021, C K Hareendran won the seat by defeating An Sajitha Ressal R K from the Indian National Congress by a margin of 25,828 votes.
