A man named Amal Kumar Tiwari from Simri locality in Buxar district, Bihar, India, was arrested for sending a threatening message to a foreign intelligence agency. He claimed he could compromise the security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in exchange for money. The police acted on information that Tiwari posted this message on the website of a USA-based intelligence agency. Upon his arrest, authorities seized a laptop, mobile phones, and fake identity documents from his residence. Tiwari's mobile phone contained multiple virtual private networks (VPNs) and apps used to access the dark web, indicating potential cybercrime activities. During interrogation, Tiwari confessed to the threat and revealed his previous involvement in a case related to threatening to hack the Kolkata airport's website. He is currently being interrogated by police and central agencies.
