In a tragic incident in Ghazipur, East Delhi, a 33-year-old man named Ranjeet Singh, originally from Jharkhand, was killed after being struck with a wooden plank by two friends during a drunken argument. The confrontation arose when Singh objected to one of the accused taking his phone, leading to a physical altercation. Following the attack, Singh was initially conscious but lost consciousness by the early morning hours. He was taken to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The police were informed by the hospital and subsequently arrested the two men, aged 34 and 33, who are both laborers working near the local meat market. A murder case has been registered against them.
