On Sunday night, Rahul Singh, a 36-year-old man from Ghata village, Haryana, was brutally murdered at his family's farmhouse in Harchandpur village, Sohna, by a former employee. The suspect, a 56-year-old man from Hirapur Khurd, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, attacked Singh with a cleaver after an argument while they were drinking together. The assault, which lasted for nearly 10 minutes, was recorded on CCTV. Singh, heavily intoxicated, was unable to defend himself and died almost instantly from multiple strikes to the head and neck. Following the incident, the suspect fled but was arrested on Tuesday while trying to board a train from New Delhi. The police recovered the murder weapon, which had blood stains, and a case was registered based on the complaint from Singh's brother. The body was released after an autopsy on Tuesday.
