Additionally, eligible employees will receive a minimum 2% pay increase. The compensation plan also features a $330 monthly contribution towards healthcare benefits, market adjustments based on analyses from the Texas Association of School Boards, and access to affordable childcare and after-school programs. District officials noted that the plan builds on previous investments in staff compensation while addressing the financial constraints faced by school systems statewide. The total cost of the plan is projected to be around $7.43 million, which will be partially offset by payroll savings from attrition and staffing adjustments due to declining enrollment.
