In a tragic incident in Mangolpuri, outer Delhi, a 35-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her 22-year-old boyfriend after she declined to engage in physical relations with his 50-year-old uncle. The police reported that the boyfriend confessed to the crime, stating he killed her in a fit of rage. He pinned her down, smothered her with a blanket, and strangled her before hiding her body in a bed box at a paying guest accommodation. The body was discovered by the PG owner, who noticed a leg protruding from the box after the boyfriend had fled the scene with his uncle and a friend. The police have registered a case under sections 103 (murder) and 238 (causing disappearance of evidence) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The victim, who was married with three children, worked as a domestic help and lived in the same area.
