On Thursday afternoon, three men attempted to rob a jewelry shop in Madharpakkam, located near Gummidipoondi in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The gang, disguised in burqas, arrived in a car, with one member entering the shop as a customer. He brandished a firearm and threatened the shop owner, Ramesh, demanding jewelry. Despite the threat, Ramesh raised an alarm and attempted to escape. The situation escalated when two accomplices entered the shop and attacked Ramesh and his employees, resulting in one employee sustaining injuries. The commotion attracted the attention of passers-by, prompting the gang to flee in their vehicle.
