Fairoz Pathan, a 32-year-old Youth Congress leader, was brutally murdered at his residence in the Malapur area of Dharwad, Karnataka, on Friday night. The attack, which occurred between 9:30 PM and 10 PM, involved four unidentified assailants who entered his home armed with knives. Pathan suffered severe injuries and died on the spot. The police, led by City Police Commissioner N Shashikumar, are investigating the incident, which was captured on nearby CCTV cameras, providing crucial evidence. Pathan had married just 15 days prior to the attack. His family reported that the attackers not only assaulted him but also harmed others present in the house and stole two mobile phones. The police are following leads to apprehend the suspects and have promised a thorough investigation to ensure justice.
