A daring robbery took place in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, where a woman dressed in a burqa looted a jewellery store at gunpoint. The incident occurred around 2 PM on Thursday at the Agarwal Complex, located under the Rudauli police station limits. The woman entered the store posing as a customer and, after examining the jewellery, grabbed a 26-gram gold necklace valued at ₹3.8 lakh (approximately $4,600 USD). She brandished a firearm to threaten the staff before fleeing the scene with an accomplice. CCTV footage of the robbery has gone viral on social media, prompting a swift response from law enforcement. Authorities have identified the suspects and are working to apprehend them, noting that the weapon used may have been a fake pistol. This incident raises concerns about security in public spaces and the audacity of such crimes in broad daylight.
