Notable issues included Kelly Gas Service's overcrowding and closure during working hours, which hindered consumer access. Gyan Gas was particularly scrutinized for not updating its stock board beyond March 21 and for charging ₹940 for a commercial cylinder instead of the mandated ₹905, denying consumers the rebate benefit. Safety violations were also noted, with inadequate fire safety equipment. At Nagra HP in Khanna, inspections revealed shortages of both domestic and commercial cylinders, while Sohavi Gas reported complaints of delayed deliveries despite payments being made. The findings have been communicated to the respective oil marketing companies, which will determine the appropriate course of action, including possible penalties and corrective measures.
