On Thursday night, two armed assailants attempted to rob Mohammad Anjar Alam, who operates a money transfer facility named Sahil Telecom in New Madhopuri, Ludhiana, Punjab, India. One of the attackers entered the shop with a firearm, demanding cash. When Alam resisted, he was shot in the arm, but he managed to hand over the cash. Despite his injury, Alam pursued the assailants with a stick, causing them to drop the stolen money.
