On the night of March 29-30, a grenade attack occurred at the Bhindi Saida police station in Amritsar district, Punjab, India. Six suspects were arrested, including Baljit Singh, Prabh Singh, and Rajbir Singh, among others, all from the local area. The police, led by Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav, stated that the module was supported by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and aimed at targeting police establishments for financial gain. During the operation, two hand grenades were recovered, and the suspects were found to have been in contact with a handler based in Pakistan. The attack was executed by Baljit and Prabh, while Rajbir filmed the incident. After the assault, the suspects attempted to destroy evidence and fled the scene. An FIR has been filed under various sections of the Explosive Substances Act and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, among others. The investigation continues to uncover further connections and dismantle the network behind the attack.
