In a shocking incident in Agra district, Uttar Pradesh, police have arrested three individuals for the murder of 39-year-old Lokendra Singh. The case emerged on April 2, when Lokendra's brother reported him missing. A half-burnt body was discovered that day, later confirmed to be Lokendra's, with identification aided by a tattoo on his hand. Investigations revealed that Lokendra's wife was involved in an extramarital affair with Mahesh Prajapati, one of the accused. It is believed that Lokendra learned of the affair, prompting a conspiracy to kill him. On April 1, Mahesh and another accused, Dharmveer, allegedly took Lokendra to a secluded area near Saiyyan bridge, where they consumed alcohol before strangling him. The body was then burned to erase evidence. The accused have been charged under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including murder and destruction of evidence.
