At the 15th Annual Convocation of the Indian Institute of Management Raipur in Chhattisgarh, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar highlighted India's resilience in facing multiple global shocks, asserting that the nation has emerged stronger from these challenges. He noted that the world is undergoing significant structural changes, with shifts in power and influence among nations, intensified by advancements in technology, energy, and military capabilities. Jaishankar pointed out that the current generation of graduates is entering a world marked by disruptions such as the COVID-19 pandemic, global conflicts, and climate change, which have profoundly impacted societies. He expressed optimism about India's growth trajectory, emphasizing that the nation is now among the top five global economies. Jaishankar encouraged the graduating students to leverage their skills in contributing to India's development journey.
