The incident allegedly took place in the Civil Lines area on Wednesday night when the woman visited the doctor's clinic with her brother. According to her complaint, Dr. Sharma asked other patients to leave, closed the doors, and requested her to remove some clothing before allegedly molesting her. The doctor has vehemently denied the accusations, stating that the woman has been under his treatment for several months and has a history of psychiatric issues. He claims that a female attendant was present during the examination and that CCTV footage can substantiate his account. The police have initiated an investigation into the allegations, which Dr. Sharma believes may be motivated by extortion attempts.
