The subsidies will be provided through direct benefit transfer to eligible residents of Delhi, with vehicle registration required in the national capital. Additionally, the policy includes exemptions from road tax and registration fees for most electric vehicles registered during the policy period, excluding electric cars priced above ₹30 lakh. The Delhi government has invited feedback from stakeholders and the public within 30 days of the policy's release, with submissions accepted via email or post.
