At a swearing-in ceremony for the Rajasthan Secretariat Service Officers' Association in Jaipur, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized the importance of efficient governance and prioritizing public service delivery. He referred to the secretariat as the 'nerve centre' of governance, advocating for faster decision-making to enhance public trust. Sharma administered the oath to the newly elected president, Abhimanyu Sharma, and urged the executive body to fulfill their duties with integrity. He highlighted the Centre's 'Mission Karmayogi' initiative, aimed at improving the skills of state employees. Sharma also announced measures taken by the state government for employee welfare, including an increase in the gratuity limit from ₹20 lakh (approximately $24,000 USD) to ₹25 lakh (approximately $30,000 USD), and the inclusion of parents or in-laws as dependents under the state health scheme.
