In a shocking development, Noida Police have confirmed that the recent violent protests by workers in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, were part of an internationally organized activity linked to Pakistan. Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh stated that individuals including Rupesh Rai and Manisha Chauhan have been identified as inciting violence. The unrest, which included arson and road blockades, was reportedly coordinated through social media, with accounts traced back to Pakistan. The police have made 62 arrests, including nine individuals involved in violent acts against law enforcement. Investigations revealed that misinformation was disseminated via social media accounts operated from Pakistan, using VPNs to conceal their location. The situation has led to increased scrutiny and collaboration with central agencies such as the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). Following the unrest, some factories in Noida have resumed operations as workers return to work after the protests.
