On Wednesday, Gurugram police, in collaboration with the district administration, intensified efforts against organized crime by demolishing illegal properties associated with gangster Kaushal Chaudhary. The operation took place in Naharpur Rupa village, where authorities reclaimed approximately 1,500 square yards of land valued at nearly ₹50 crore. Chaudhary, aged 45, has a notorious criminal record with 37 cases against him, including serious offenses like murder, robbery, and extortion. He is also implicated in the high-profile murders of Harjeet Kaur and her bodyguard in Punjab. Chaudhary's criminal activities reportedly began as a quest for revenge following his brother's murder and have expanded internationally in collaboration with the Bambiha syndicate. The demolition of properties linked to drug trafficker Bhajan Lal, alias Gajepal, was also executed as part of the crackdown. Nodal officer RS Bath emphasized that these actions are aimed at dismantling the financial networks of criminals to ensure safety in Haryana. The police spokesperson reiterated that such operations will continue to combat illegal constructions and black money.
