Meanwhile, the YSRCP (Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party) has expressed support but cautioned that delimitation should not be exploited for political advantage. JDU's Rajeev Ranjan Singh criticized the opposition, particularly Congress, for obstructing social reforms like women's reservation, stating that the bill is a well-considered initiative rather than a rushed decision. In contrast, the Akali Dal, represented by Harsimrat Kaur Badal, has voiced opposition to the bill, questioning the government's delimitation approach and advocating for 33% reservation for women in the Lok Sabha, highlighting their previous support for the women's reservation bill of 2023.
