The drive focuses on enhancing civic amenities, reducing patient waiting times, and conducting frequent inspections. Dr. Nina Singh, senior medical officer at the Civil Hospital in Sector 10A, reported that a quality team of 22 officials and doctors is overseeing departmental inspections, with geo-tagged reports prepared daily to monitor conditions of washrooms, operation theatres, and waiting areas. Measures taken include the removal of stray dogs by the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, cleaning of tankers, servicing of drinking water sources, and repair or replacement of old furniture. Additionally, effective queue management and help desks are being established to improve patient experience. The initiative also features fogging to prevent mosquito breeding and is part of the Kayakalp programme under the Swachh Bharat Initiative. Dr. Lokveer Singh, chief medical officer of Gurugram, emphasized that doctors will ensure their wards remain clean and patient-friendly throughout the drive.
