In Hyderabad, an All India Services (AIS) officer has been accused of harassing a senior woman officer following a dispute over dog waste in a common area. The incident took place on April 13 at the official residential quarters in Banjara Hills. The complainant, who works in the telecom department, alleged that the officer made sexual remarks and obscene gestures towards her, as well as verbally abusing her staff. Additionally, the AIS officer is accused of damaging her flower pots during the altercation. In response to the complaint, police have registered a case against the officer on charges of sexual harassment and other relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). A notice has been issued to the officer regarding the allegations.
