In response, Sarma dismissed these allegations as 'malicious,' highlighting inconsistencies such as spelling errors, mismatched details, and invalid QR codes in the documents. He suggested that the material may have been digitally manipulated and originated from a Pakistani social media group. In light of these accusations, Sarma announced plans to file defamation cases against Khera, and an FIR has been lodged, further intensifying the political dispute just days before the upcoming elections.
