This move aims to modernize governance and improve service delivery by enhancing the digital capabilities of public sector employees. The iGOT Karmayogi portal, part of the Mission Karmayogi program, offers free, self-paced, and certified AI courses tailored for public sector staff. These courses range from basic AI concepts to advanced applications in governance, including modules on generative AI, digital transformation in urban development, rural governance, and education. Supported by the Haryana Institute of Public Administration, the initiative emphasizes the increasing importance of AI in policymaking. Collaborating organizations such as Microsoft and the Wadhwani Foundation provide additional resources for these learning opportunities. Officials are encouraged to sign up and take advantage of these courses to contribute to a more digitally empowered governance framework.
