The Haryana government, led by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, has initiated a state-wide mandate for all government employees to participate in Artificial Intelligence (AI) training via the iGOT Karmayogi digital portal. This move is part of a broader effort to enhance digital competencies within the state's administrative framework, ultimately improving efficiency and service delivery to citizens. The iGOT Karmayogi platform, recognized as the national digital learning portal under Mission Karmayogi, offers a range of free, self-paced, and certified AI courses tailored for public administrators. These courses cover topics from basic AI concepts to advanced applications in governance, including Generative AI and productivity tools like Microsoft Copilot. Registration on the portal is user-friendly, requiring basic personal information and verification, allowing employees to learn flexibly while continuing their regular duties. The Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA) is supporting this initiative, encouraging all employees to complete the recommended courses at their convenience.
