Sony has launched the Playerbase contest, inviting PlayStation's biggest fans to be featured in its racing game, Gran Turismo 7. Applications are now open for fans aged 18 and older in select regions, including the Americas, Europe, Asia, South Africa, and Australia. Participants must submit a personal story and their PlayStation experience to apply. The contest runs from April 7 to April 26, 2026, with the winner announced in summer 2026. The selected fan will appear as an in-game character portrait and collaborate on a custom Fantasy Logo and vehicle livery, which will be permanently added to the game. Sony expressed excitement about this initiative, stating, “The Playerbase is our way of saying thank you to the players who make PlayStation what it is today.” This program marks a unique opportunity for fans to engage with the PlayStation community and the gaming experience in a new way.
