To address the high passenger load during the summer vacation, North Western Railway in India is running special holiday trains until July 15 and adding extra coaches to several long-distance trains. In addition to these measures, the Railways is enhancing passenger convenience by establishing dedicated holding areas at 76 stations across the country, featuring modern amenities such as seating, drinking water, and security checks.
