During the TiECON Chandigarh 2026 event, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced plans to establish two artificial intelligence (AI) centres in the state, reinforcing Haryana's commitment to enhancing its digital infrastructure and innovation capacity. Saini highlighted that Haryana is home to over 9,500 startups and 19 unicorns, showcasing its growing prominence in the startup ecosystem. He urged entrepreneurs to utilize state incentives to align with the central government's vision of a 'Viksit Bharat by 2047'. Governor Ashim Kumar Ghosh praised the region's startup ecosystem as a national model, noting Gurugram's status as a global investment hub. The event also featured the distribution of startup awards, with Glovatrix receiving the top Saksham Award of ₹5 lakh and four companies securing a total of ₹7.5 crore in funding through TiE and Chandigarh Angels Network. The conclave included sessions on various topics, emphasizing the importance of innovation and collaboration in driving growth.
