The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has firmly rejected claims that the Tamil film 'Jana Nayagan' was leaked from its system, labeling the allegations as 'baseless and misleading.' The board clarified that its certification process is secure, utilizing a Key Delivery Message (KDM) mechanism that ensures password-protected access is strictly controlled by the producer or filmmaker. CBFC officials stated that without a valid KDM, the film's content cannot be accessed or viewed. They further noted that the Digital Cinema Package (DCP) for 'Jana Nayagan' was officially handed over to the applicant in Mumbai on March 17 and has remained with them since, reinforcing the integrity of their process amidst growing concerns from fans and industry stakeholders over the film's alleged online leak in high-definition format.
