The Kerala Assembly elections concluded with a notable increase in voter turnout, particularly in Palakkad district, which recorded 80.61% participation, up from 76% in 2021. The overall number of electors was adjusted from 2.78 crore to 2.71 crore following the Special Electoral Roll (SIR). Ernakulam district's Kunnathunad constituency stood out with a turnout of 84.09%, marking a significant rise from 82.5% in 2021. Other constituencies in Ernakulam, such as Tripunithura, Kalamassery, and North Paravur, also exceeded the 80% mark, reflecting strong voter engagement. Districts like Kozhikode (81.36%) and Palakkad (80.54%) followed closely, while Malappuram noted a 4 percentage point increase from its previous turnout of 75.8% in 2021. In contrast, Pathanamthitta and Kottayam reported lower turnouts of 70.76% and 74.56% respectively, indicating varying levels of voter engagement across the state.
