The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the cancellation of the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier II skill test, initially set for April 10, 2026, due to reported technical glitches during the second shift of the exam. The rescheduled skill test will now take place on April 22, 2026. Only candidates who participated in Shift I of the April 10 exam will be eligible to take the rescheduled test, while those from Shift II will not be required to participate. The SSC is expected to release the admit cards for the rescheduled exam on April 17, 2026. Previously, the SSC released the Tier I results for the 2025 cycle on February 27, 2026, where 37,520 candidates qualified for further stages, including positions such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Data Entry Operator (DEO). The CHSL examination consists of two stages: Tier I, which is a computer-based objective test, and Tier II, which includes a mandatory skill/typing test for certain posts.
