Ola Electric Mobility's shares surged by 17% over two days, buoyed by impressive sales figures reported for March. The company announced that daily orders exceeded 1,000 units during the last week of March, contributing to a month-over-month registration increase of over 150%, reaching 10,117 units from 3,973 units in February. This uptick in demand follows significant operational improvements, with over 80% of vehicles now serviced on the same day, enhancing customer satisfaction. Ola Electric, led by Bhavish Aggarwal, also celebrated a historic milestone by becoming the first electric vehicle brand in India to achieve over 1 million cumulative registrations, marking a pivotal moment for the country's electric vehicle ecosystem. Despite this positive momentum, the stock remains approximately 65% below its IPO price of ₹76 and over 83% lower than its all-time high of ₹157.4, reached shortly after its debut in August 2024.
