Sunetra Pawar, the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, is set to file her nomination for the Baramati assembly bypoll on Monday. Senior leaders from the Mahayuti alliance, including Sunil Tatkare, Praful Patel, and Chhagan Bhujbal, are expected to support her during the nomination process. Jay Pawar, a leader of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), expressed hope for an uncontested election, reflecting the sentiments of many Baramati residents. However, the Congress party has indicated it may still field a candidate, which could complicate the situation. Additionally, Sunetra Pawar is anticipated to resign from her Rajya Sabha seat post-election, paving the way for another candidate from the party.
