Central Railway (CR) has announced the operation of two additional summer special trains on the Mumbai-Howrah route to accommodate the expected surge in passenger traffic during the summer season. The ticket booking will commence on April 12, 2026, at all computerized reservation centers across India, as well as through the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) website. Train number 01145 will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai at 20:15 hrs on April 14 and arrive in Howrah at 06:00 hrs on the third day, making stops at 17 stations including Thane, Nashik Road, and Nagpur. Conversely, train number 01146 will leave Howrah at 14:45 hrs on April 16 and reach LTT at 23:45 hrs the following day, also halting at 17 stations. Each train will consist of various classes, including 2 AC 2-tier, 9 AC 3-tier, and 3 Sleeper Class coaches, ensuring a range of options for travelers.
