Maheshwar Rao, the Chief Commissioner of the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA), has announced that towing operations for abandoned vehicles will begin on April 7. This initiative aims to clear vehicles that have been parked on city roads for several months. During a coordination meeting, Rao instructed officials to ensure that each of the five city corporations within the GBA jurisdiction procure a pothole-filling machine to address road maintenance issues. He emphasized the need for the traffic police to enforce parking regulations strictly, particularly on white-topped or concrete roads.
